Trustees: Fly Fishing - Chesterfield Gorge

This experience is for beginning anglers who want to learn how to fly fish for trout and are willing to make a bit of a hike to do so. The scenery along the East Branch of the Westfield makes it well worth it for some good fishing in larger pools where we are likely to encounter larger rainbows. It’s important to note that this is a catch and release section of the river. We’ll review basic ecological concepts to help you identify what to use and where to use it before wading in and hopefully catching some nice trout.
