What to Expect

Slip into the calm evening waters of the Connecticut River for a three-hour guided paddle designed around the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. We’ll navigate the protected channels around the Sunderland Islands, land on Island Two to settle in under dark skies for stargazing, then return by moon- and starlight with guides prioritizing night vision and on-water safety.

Flashlight - however, we encourage you to largely rely on the brilliance of the moonlight

Thermos with your favorite hot/warm beverage (non-alcoholic)

We encourage you to take our Intro to River Kayaking Course if you don't have prior river kayaking experience.
