Trustees Notchview: Wildlife Tracking with Ami Jean Aubin

Explore the outdoors while getting better acquainted with the beings we share the land with. This tracking program will teach you the basics of identifying wildlife track and sign. We will sharpen our nature awareness and mindfulness practice, learning how to read animal clues. Interpreting the stories left behind by the more than human world can lead to a deeper understanding of our interconnected nature. Snowshoes or spikes will be provided in order for everyone to have a safe and enjoyable adventure. Come explore the wild world!

A part of the Hoosac Range, Notchview offers over 3,000 acres of rolling terrain and miles of nordic  ski trails. Open year-round, this gorgeous property is a picturesque and idyllic spot ideal for a plethora of outdoor experiences.

2-hour guided tracking experience with a naturalist

Snowshoes, spikes, and trekking poles

What to Bring

Layers appropriate for the temperatures - dress for standing in the cold for periods of time!

Warm hiking boots and thick socks (extra pair of socks is recommended)

Plenty of drinking water and snacks
