Deposit

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your experience.

Final Payment

Final payment is due 30 days prior to your experience. If payment is not received by this date, Adventure East reserves the right to cancel your reservation.

Cancellations

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@adventureeast.com.

  • More than 30 days before your trip date: a $15 per person cancellation fee is retained.
  • 30 days or less before your trip date: the full cost of your trip is forfeited.
  • Within 24 hours of your trip date or no-shows: no refund or credit will be issued.

Rescheduling

If a future date is available, one complimentary date transfer is permitted with 30 or more days' notice. Requests to reschedule with less than 30 days of your trip date will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the cancellation policy above. All reservations are transferable to another person at no charge.

Program Content & Staffing

Adventure East reserves the right to modify program content, itineraries, and staff assignments as necessary. In the event of any such changes, Adventure East will make every effort to provide a comparable experience of equal or greater value. These modifications do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.

Weather & Operator Cancellations

Most experiences operate in all weather conditions. Weather suitability is determined solely by Adventure East. If Adventure East cancels an activity due to unsafe weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances (including road closures, permit issues, equipment failure, or staffing emergencies), customers will receive a full refund or credit at the customer's choice, processed within 5–7 business days.

No-Shows

Customers who do not arrive for their scheduled experience will be charged the full price and are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Liability Waivers

A signed Adventure East Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Express Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement is required to participate in all experiences. Waivers must be completed prior to the start of your activity. Participants who have not signed a waiver will not be permitted to join and will not be eligible for a refund.

Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge and accept that Adventure East experiences involve outdoor recreation activities with inherent risks, including but not limited to: falls, unpredictable weather, overexertion, wildlife encounters, communicable diseases, equipment failure, and negligence of others. These risks can result in illness, injury, permanent disability, or death. Participants are responsible for any medical care, transportation, or evacuation costs incurred during activities. Adventure East assumes no responsibility for providing medical care during activities.

Photography & Publicity

By participating in an Adventure East experience, participants grant Adventure East the right to use their name, image, and likeness in connection with the activity for promotional and publicity purposes without further compensation or permission. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify your guide before the activity begins.

Rental Equipment

Where equipment is provided as part of your experience:

  • Equipment is accepted AS-IS and participants accept full financial responsibility for its care while in their possession.
  • Participants are responsible for the replacement cost at full retail value of any equipment provided but not returned.
  • All attorney fees related to collection and/or non-payment for damaged or unreturned equipment are the responsibility of the participant.
  • All rental equipment must be returned by the agreed date and time.

Note: Alpine touring boot/binding systems are not designed to release and will not release under normal circumstances, which increases risk during certain activities.

Health & Fitness

By registering for an Adventure East experience, participants represent that they are in good health, in proper physical condition, and do not have any medical or other conditions that would impair their ability to safely participate in the activity. Participants agree to follow all instructions, recommendations, and cautions from Adventure East staff at all times.

Accepted Payments

Payment is accepted by EFT, Wire, Check, or Credit Card. Credit card payments may be subject to additional processing fees. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

General

These terms and conditions shall be binding to the fullest extent permitted by law. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms shall remain in full effect. Adventure East reserves the right to update these terms at any time; the current version will always be available at adventureeast.com/terms-conditions.
