What to Expect
This full‑day guided paddle follows one of the most scenic and historic stretches of the upper Connecticut River. Launching below Sumner Falls, we travel downstream through wide bends, pastoral landscapes, and calm moving water toward Cornish Landing. Midway through the day, we stop at the Path of Life Garden and Labyrinth for a relaxed lunch break before continuing on to our takeout beneath the iconic Windsor Covered Bridge. A round‑trip shuttle from Sunderland makes logistics simple and allows you to focus fully on the river experience.

Who This Trip Is For
Designed for paddlers ages 12+ who are comfortable kayaking on calm to gently moving river water for several hours. Participants should have prior tour kayaking experience, be able to paddle at a steady pace, and feel comfortable spending a full day on the water with breaks for rest and exploration.
Location & Route
Where: Upper Connecticut River, Vermont and New Hampshire.
Route: Downstream paddle from Sumner Falls to Cornish Landing, passing farmland, wooded banks, and historic river towns, with a mid‑day stop at the Path of Life Garden and Labyrinth.
Pace & Timing: Full‑day outing with steady paddling, a relaxed lunch break, and a scenic finish beneath the Windsor Covered Bridge. Round‑trip shuttle from Sunderland is included.
