Discover deep rest and awaken to the landscapes within.
Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practice that invites the body into profound relaxation while the mind journeys through vivid inner landscapes. In this practice, participants rest comfortably—safe, warm, and cozy indoors—while being gently guided into states of awareness that open the door to renewal, clarity, and peace.
In this unique offering, the meditation journey is inspired by the rhythms and habitats of the natural world. Through imagery and sensory exploration, you’ll be invited to wander forests, rivers, and meadows in your mind’s eye, cultivating connection with the earth. Each session is designed to evoke the healing qualities of nature—stillness, resilience, and wonder—while supporting your nervous system in releasing stress and restoring balance.
Led by Ami Jean Aubin, Kripalu facilitator and Director of Environmental Education at Adventure East, this experience blends the wisdom of yoga with the grounding presence of the natural world. Ami’s guidance draws on years of teaching in outdoor and wellness settings, weaving ecological awareness with contemplative practice to create a meditation journey that is both restorative and inspiring.
